Introduction

Our version of Junkyard Wars. Use the resources at your disposal, coupled with your engineering skills to make a working object from a pile of junk.

Participants have to bring Soldering gun on their own .

Rules:

1.It will be on the spot event and problem statement will be given on the spot.

2.It will be a team event.

3.It will be a two phase event.

4.Competences to check:-Machine design concepts, efficient use of given resources within given time limit, manual controlling of model by participant.

1] Winning criteria:-

Task will be given on the spot.

Whoever will successfully perform final task will be declared as winner.

Rules for competition will be stated before issue of the set of materials.

Elimination round will continue, and whoever will survive till end, will be the winner.

2] Time provision:-

Schedule of the event will be displayed on the web-site.

Time slot for model making will be around 6-8 hours.

After every round participant will be given 1 hour for recovering the damages, if any.

3] General rules

Every team should produce their receipt 1 hour before the start of event.

Any team which is not ready at the specified time will be scratched from competition.

Name of your machine should be displayed prominently on the machine.

No deliberate damage should be done to given arena.

On the spot registration will depend on availability of seats.

Decision of the judges will be final and mandatory for everybody.

Organizers will have every rights to change any of the above stated rules without any prior notice. Any such changes will be updated immediately during the course of time on the same web-page.

Machine:

PHASES, MACHINE AND TEAM SPECIFICATION:-

1] Phases in competition:-

Phase 1 activity => construction of machine.

Phase 2 activity => execution of given task in given arena.

2] Criteria for machine construction:-

Each team will be given a set of materials, on the spot.

Team should strictly use only the given material; otherwise team will be disqualified from the competition.

Entire machine should fit in plot of 25cm*25cm at the start of competition; there is no restriction for height of machine.

There is no restriction on weight of the machine.

Dimensions of machine may change during the course of competition.

In case of any damage to material during construction or during the competition, replacement will not be done.
